Am I crazy or has the Disney magic returned?

Well I got back a few weeks ago from our two week family vacation at Walt Disney World with a one night stay at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. In a future blog I will discuss my view and experience with our first stay at Disney’s Hilton Head Island – but that is for another day. It has been 2 years since my last visit to the world and my entire family (wife and 3 little girls) were very excited to be returning, especially with the Disney DVC discounted premium annual pass – gotta like the major discount – well worth the money (what’s up with Disney major DVC price increase? A future blog is coming about that).

Fred and Sean take on Disney’s new FastPass+ and provide their opinions on how this will impact your next visit

First we will start with Fred's opinion... Well now, FastPass + was a little to chew on, but now we have MyMagic+, which is bringing a whole lot more to the table. With a trip to Disney upcoming this year, it is becoming apparent that my planning needs may change, and I’m a bit unsettled by this. Sean, as you may have guessed, is incredibly well organized and planned, and I get the feeling he will love the new setup and the ability to plan every aspect of your day, when you ride what rides, when you eat, where you eat, what you eat, where you use the bathroom, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Me, I’m, somewhat more……

Disney Memories, the greatest gift from a Disney Vacation

When we go on our Disney vacations we spend a lot of time planning, deciding where to stay, to buy the Disney Dining Plan or not, to stay on our DVC points or rent a hotel room, to stay on site or off site, plan each day or just let it happen. So many things to decide to make that perfect experience, but in the end what really matters are the memories. We have traveled to Disney as adults on a honeymoon, travel with a 4 month old, then a 10 month old with grandparents and then with 3 children (9 month old, 2 year old and a 4 year old) then many trips thereafter with many more to come… With all of these different vacations staying onsite and offsite in values to deluxe DVC units, we have lots of memories. Even of the 28 hour drives from Ontario, Canada to Florida, travelling through some of the most beautiful countryside that the USA has to offer along with meeting so many friendly people.
